Live Cams Pro 1.5

Known Issues

Foscam audio output is "crackly". This is due to the way that the camera handles network packets as they arrive. We are going to continue to improve this if possible over the next few updates.

We have switched back to the paid apps category. "Free" seemed confusing to many people since the PRO product is our premium offering. Sadly this eliminates try before you buy but Apple can always issue refunds if your camera is not supported.

Private cameras can be assigned to groups by using the favorites toolbar icon in the fullscreen view. In future releases we will add a way to also manage the groups from the list view or the camera edit screen so that it is easier to manage large numbers of devices at a time.

General features

German localization (primary menus and controls only)

French localization (primary menus and controls only)

Separated public camera mode versus home surveillance mode. Use the settings button to toggle modes via the "Surveillance Mode" option.

Audio now recovers after a system sound or phone call interrupts the app

Audio squelch feature - eliminate noise below a custom level

Audio alerts - pop-up alerts (even when the app is in the background) when audio exceeds a custom level

Added ability to "group" private cameras. Use the favorites button to assign cameras into one of 10 pre-defined groups.

Main toolbar can be hidden by pressing the "x" on the right side of the display. It will then change to an arrow button which will allow you to restore the menu.

New camera-specific features

2-way audio support for Axis and some TRENDnet models.

2-way (poor quality) for Foscam and clones. We will continue to improve this in future releases.
